During the operation in Tehsil Til and Kurram Agency of Hangu, the forces recovered three bombs weighing 20 kilograms, 25-kg and 30-kg each.
Forces also arrested two militants including a most-wanted terrorist during their operation.
Pakistan has been battling militant groups in its semi-autonomous tribal belt since 2003, but stepped up its fight last June when it launched a major military offensive.
