PESHAWAR: Law enforcement agencies have arrested 179 suspects in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday.
The suspects were apprehended from Mardan, Swabi and Hangu. They included eight facilitators of terrorists, and four proclaimed offenders. Drugs, arms and ammunition were also recovered from them.
Meanwhile, Security personnel have also arrested two brothers of Anwarul Haq, the alleged facilitator in the recent Lahore suicide attack, in Mamond Tehsil of Bajour Agency on Saturday.
According to officials, both persons Khalilullah and Hamidullah were arrested from their residence in Bar Kalan area of the Tehsil.
A number of other suspected people were also arrested during the operation.
