RAWALPINDI: CEO ARY Digital Network and Karachi Kings owner Mr. Salman Iqbal on Saturday presented the Karachi Kings’ official team jersey to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan ahead of Pakistan Super League (PSL) third edition.
The duo discussed a range of issues including the upcoming edition of the PSL and the revival of international cricket in Pakistan.
Imran Khan, who is also the former skipper of national cricket team, appreciated Salman Iqbal’s efforts for development of sports activities in Pakistan, particularly promoting cricket and introducing new talent to the game.
On the occasion, the CEO ARY Digital Network was accompanied by senior anchorperson Kashif Abbasi, Arshad Sharif, Sabir Shakir and Arif Hameed Bhatti.
PTI Leaders Fawad Chaudhry and Aun Chaudhry were also present in the meeting.
The third edition of the Pakistan Super League will be held from February 22 in the United Arab Emirates.
There will be as many as 30 matches during the league till March 16, which will be later followed by the playoffs qualifying for the final.
This will be the first ever edition featuring six PSL teams instead of five and each side will play each other twice, besides the final of the league will be held in Karachi for first time on March 25, 2018.
