Russian news anchor impressed by ‘charismatic’ Imran after TV interview

Pakistan’s cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan made foreign headlines a day before yesterday for his remarks against the United States in an interview with Russian journalist Sophie Shevardnadze, and Khan’s demeanour has left the journalist flabbergasted – as it appears to be.

Sophie Shevardnadze has expressed surprise on her following in Pakistan after the interview.

 

The TV anchor was left ‘flabbergasted’ after reactions her interview received on the social media. This has just left me speechless, said the TV anchor.

The female journalist also tweeted a short funny clip showing her and Imran running their hands simultaneously through their hair as she informs Khan that “they are about to go on air”.

“Well, I and @ImranKhanPTI , at least we have synchronisity on hair matters 😀 but seriously though, enjoy the interview with this persuasive and charismatic man,” she captioned the video.

In one more tweet, she heaped praise on PTI chairman calling him “oh-so-handsome and just as smart”.

“The oh-so-handsome and just as smart @ImranKhanPTI talks to me today – on #Afghanistan, #Pakistan and whether it’s fair to blame the Afghan War failure on #Taliban who hide out in the Tribal Areas,” she said.

 

The short amusing clip of Imran and the Russian journalist has drawn more than 4500 retweets in just couple of days.
