According to sources, the suspects opened fire at the police officer’s vehicle in Lyari. The law enforcement agencies, in retaliation, shot dead one of the two attackers while the second escaped in wounded state.
However, the second gunman was later found dead as well.
The police has stated that the suspects were robbers and were involved in different looting cases.
On the other hand, one man was reportedly killed in a hand grenade explosion in Lyari’s Singulane area.
