Religious tolerance was never needed as much required today: Kamran Michael

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping, Senator Kamran Michael has said that the religious tolerance up to an extent state needs today, was never required in the past – ARY News reports.

Talking to media after a ceremony held with respect to the Christmas Eve at Lahore Press Club on Saturday, Kamran Michael said that until the exports will not increase, the state will not make progress.

He told that for increasing the exports an industrial zone is formed at Port Qasim.

The Minister stated that our a large quantity of our fish produce is being exported to the European countries, which will support the economy of Pakistan.

Michael further told that the Government is taking practical measures for the provision of rights to the minorities and to ensure their quota in government jobs.

Economic development of the underprivileged and deserving class is included in the top goals of the Government, he added.
