DG Rangers Major General Rizwan Akhter presided over a high level security meeting and was briefed about the security arrangements in the city during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to details, Rangers personnel will be deployed around all markets and shopping centers during the month and a quick response plan is also prepared to cope up with any emergency or accident.
It was decided that all private security guards have been told to keep their arms licenses with them, no matter where they are deployed.
