ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has launched an online portal for e-challans to facilitate the masses.

Addressing a press conference, the Chief Operating Officer of the PSCA, Akbar Nasir Khan gave a briefing about introducing e-challan web portal in Lahore.

He said citizens can now access the portal at “echallan.psca.gop.pk” and by giving in their vehicle registration number and CNIC, they can view and print e-challans, if any, issued to them.

He said the PSCA has issued 87,000 e-challans so far since the beginning of the e-challans systems on September 24 with a collection of fines amounting to Rs11 million rupees.

He said since September 23 more than 1,000 vehicles have been blacklisted for displaying fake registration numbers and over 100 vehicles detained.

More than 800 e-challans have been sent to different cities across Punjab.

The PSCA has also decided to include speeding and one-way violations in its e-challan system.
