LAHORE: Nomination papers for local bodies elections in Punjab continued on Monday, for second day, ARY News reported.
The nomination papers for 38,336 municipal seats of the province will be received till December 27, while the notification with regard to the received nomination papers will be issued on Dec. 28.
According to to the election commission the scrutiny of the nomination papers will be held on January 3 and 4, while appeals against approval or rejection of the nomination papers could be filed on Jan. 6 and 7.
The final list of the candidates will be released on January 13th.
The polling for local bodies election in Punjab will be held on January 30th.
