ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed on Saturday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would get Sindh released from the clutches of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), ARY News reported.

“People from Karachi to Thar are crying for basic facilities,” Murad Saeed said in a response to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s statement.

He said Bilawal should realise that the PTI would get Sindh freed from his party. He said time had gone when they would deal with the Sharif family and plunder wealth. “Bilawal should not conceive Sindh as his personal property.”

The minister said the PPP had inflicted so much oppression on people of the province that they had stuck in quagmire of poverty for generations.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan has committed to bring corrupt people to book,” he said.

On March 28, Murad Saeed had said no national reconciliation ordinance (NRO) would take place with those who looted nation’s wealth for years.

Saeed had said those who plundered national wealth were now facing cases in the courts. He had said Nawaz Sharif was granted six-week bail by the court and the government was just implementing the court orders.
