Addressing a gathering after performing ground breaking of Gulpur power plant in Azad Kashmir, he said Pakistan was facing shortage of power and such projects will help to add more power to national grid.
He underlined that significant improvement in power generation was witnessed during last six months. Mr. Sharif said 12 hours load shedding has declined to 6 hours. “Pakistan has capability to produce 60000 mega watts of electricity.”
Referring to recent electoral triumphs of PML-N in by-elections, he urged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to demonstrate political maturity and accept elections results.
He said those who were calling for re-elections were not even accepting the results of by-elections.
