PPP extends olive branch to JUI-F ahead of elections 2024

KARACHI: In significant political development, the PPP and JUI-F have formally engaged in discussions for seat adjustments in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), ARY News reported on Sunday citing sources.

Sources privy to the development told ARY News that PPP wants JUI-F to withdraws its candidate against Bilawal Bhutto on Larkana seat as Maulana Rashid Soomro enjoys good vote bank in Larkana constituency against PPP.

The two parties have also formed committees to finalise matter pertaining to seat adjustment.

Earlier, Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited the residence of Jamiat Ulema e Islam Sindh General Secretary Maulana Rashid Soomro and condoled with him over the death of his daughter.

He also expressed his condolences to Jamiat Ulema e Islam Larkana Emir Maulana Nasir Soomro.

On Friday, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl finalised seat adjustment with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Mansehra district.
