The demand was made during the committee’s meeting which was chaired by ANP Senator Zahid Khan.
The committee was briefed on the construction of 132 KV grid stations at Manda, Jandol and Lower Dir areas.
The committee head also sought a report on the power shortage by Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO).
CEO PESCO informed the committee that village areas are facing power shortage up to eight hours while six hours of load-shedding occurring in urban areas.
He added that those areas facing power crisis where power feeders have been damaged.
