BAHAWALPUR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is all set to hold a public rally today (Friday) at Dring Stadium in Bahawalpur city of Punjab.
All arrangements have been finalized and the venue has been decorated with party flags and posters.
The PML-N leaders have stepped up their pre-election campaign across the country, particularly in Punjab in an apparent move to solicit support for the upcoming general elections in 2018.
Former premier Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz are expected to address the rally.
Besides PML-N central leadership, the district-level party leaders are also expected to deliver speeches in the public meeting.
The city administration officials inspected all security arrangements for the event by late night, besides deploying police personnel at and around the venue.
The ruling party workers kept on rallying across the city on Thursday night in an attempt to mobilize masses to attend today’s public gathering.
