PM Sharif and the Afghan minister discussed economic cooperation between the two countries in the meeting.
The Pakistani Premier added that there are vast trading opportunities between the two countries.
The prime minister added that serious efforts should be made to increase the trade volume between the two countries to $5 billion.
He added that Pakistan gives importance to its brotherly ties with Afghanistan.
PM Sharif told Afghan ambassador that Pakistan is willing to cooperate with the neighboring country to help the state fulfill its energy needs and develop.
