MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Jahangir Khan Tareen on Monday declared Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to China highly successful.
Jahangir Tareen said that the PM Imran’s trip to China will help boost the strategic partnership between the two countries. He said that China is a time-tested friend and always stood by Pakistan in difficult times.
Friendly countries provided support for economic stability and prosperity in Pakistan, Tareen said and added that trade in local currency is beneficial for the country.
He accused former government for the economic crises being faced by the current government. Jahangir Tareen said the government will decide wither it go to IMF or not.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Imran Khan had concluded his four-day official visit to China, with signing of several cooperation agreements and memorandum of understandings (MoUs) to further bilateral ties between the two countries.
Mr. Khan had met President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang and discussed matters of mutual interest and also sought assistance from Beijing to address financial crisis faced by the country.
