“The national carrier would now be operating six flights every week to Beijing ,” PIA’s interim Chief Executive Officer Qasim Hayat told ARY News.
Mr Hayat further stated that increased flights to Beijing will also help increase the airline’s revenue.
About the airline’s future plans, Hayat claimed that the national carrier will add 60 more planes to its fleet till 202o. He added that two Airbus 330, while four more planes including Boeing 777 and Airbus 320 will be added to the fleet till 2017.
