PFA ready to 'collar' food adulterators during Eid days

The PFA director reiterated that the provision of quality and safe food to the citizens was the utmost priority of the PFA.

Talking to media persons outside Lahore High Court on Wednesday, Ms Mumtaz said she would personally monitor performance of designated teams.

She had arrived at the court to attend hearinf og the case regarding illegal abattoirs.

Punjab Food Authority has been in action for more than couple of months against food adulterators and sealed various known eateries, restaurants, bakeries and other food outlets in its ongoing crackdown. The PFA raiding teams also imposed fines on different eateries.
