Milan: Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqqan Abbasi and Eni's Chief Executive Paolo Scaroni met to discuss the activities of the Italian oil and gas major in the country, Eni said on Monday.
They talked about the need to enhance domestic gas production by tapping the vast potential of the country, especially in the exploitation of shale gas and ultra deep offshore exploration, it said in a statement.
The Italian group is the largest oil and gas producer among the foreign companies operating in Pakistan.
