According to details, the incident took place in Pushta Khara Bazaar. Unknown assailants opened fire at a police mobile parked outside a local hotel, subsequently killing three of the cops including an ASI and a citizen, while two other cops were injured who were immediately shifted to the hospital.
The cops arrived at the hotel for the sake of ‘Iftar’.
Eye witnesses told that the attackers fired from a white colored car, who managed to flee away soon after targeting the policemen.
