ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) has strongly condemned the suspension of ARY News license by Pakistan Electronic Media and Regulatory Authority (Pemra), ARY News reported Monday.
In its board meeting, the PBA said Pemra should immediately withdraw its illegal order issued on June 20 and the license of ARY News should be restored forthwith.
Pemra issued the notification on mischief against ARY News, said PBA members in its meeting.
The PBA condemned the illegal suspension of ARY news license.
The meeting also condemned the arrest of Secretary General Cable Operators Association Chaudhary Tahir Javed and demanded his release.
