The meeting in Prime Minister’s House here, was attended by Maulana Fazlur Rehman of JUI-F, Mehmood Khan Achakzai of PMAP and National Party’s Mir Hasil Bizenjo and others.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif consulted with the allies over the content of the reply to the opposition parties over the ToRs of the judicial commission.

The meeting devised a strategy to deal with the opposition parties over the matter.

The coalition parties, expressed reservations over the Terms of Reference proposed by the opposition, Radio Pakistan reported.

Later, talking to the media persons Maulana Fazlur Rehman claimed that the opposition’s ToRs are in contradiction to the constitution and law.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman regretted that opposition parties have adopted a contradictory stance on the investigation of Panama papers. He said the prime minister first announced formation of the commission under supervision of retired judges, but the opposition did not agree to it, and made it controversial. He said it is a matter of surprise that the opposition is ready to get the investigation done by a retired bureaucrat, but not by a retired judge.
