Pakistan repays 26th instalment of $109mn to IMF

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has paid back the 26th instalment to International Monetary Fund (IMF) of $109 million on Monday, ARY News reported.

According to spokesperson of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Pakistan has repaid the total of $6,361 million since July 2011 and $5,513 million under Standby Agreement (SBA).

The SBP Spokesperson revealed that Pakistan has repaid to $ 2,027 million to IMF during the current fiscal year, out of which $1,886 million has been paid under SBA.

After the current repayment remaining amount due under SBA until Sep-2015 is $2028.18 million.
