Pakistan calls for dialogue to resolve disputes with India

Speaking during a media briefing in Indian capital High Commissioner Abdul Basit said that his country wants peace in the region. He said that Pakistan wants to resolve all bilateral disputes through dialogue.

“The time has ripe to avoid confrontation and seeking solution of the bilateral problems,” Basit said.

He said regional peace and stability is the foremost priority of Pakistan.

Pakistani High Commissioner said that his country has faced immense difficulties after the 9/11 incident.

He said a military offensive, Zarb-i-Azb, has been underway against terrorists and vowed complete annihilation of saboteurs within the span of eight to 10 weeks.
