OGRA proposes Rs13 per liter hike in petroleum prices

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended the federal government to increase the prices of petroleum products by Rs13 per liter for November, ARY News reported.

According to the details, OGRA has sent a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum proposing an increase of Rs9 per liter in the prices of petrol, Rs13 per liter in high speed diesel (HSD) and Rs6 per liter in Kerosene oil.

Whereas the final decision will be taken by the federal government on OGRA’s summery.

PM decides to maintain petroleum product prices for October

It is pertinent to mention here for the month of October, Prime Minister Imran Khan had decided to maintain the prices of petroleum products at the current level against the  recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra),

Considering the increase in global oil prices, the Ogra had recommended the following increase in petroleum product prices for October:  92 RON petrol by Rs 4.10 a liter, diesel by Rs 4.41 a liter, kerosene oil by Rs 3.66 per liter and light diesel oil by Rs 3.39 per liter.
