ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashad Mehmood were awarded the prestigious Nishan-e-Imtiaz Military award, ARY News reports.
The awards were given to the two top military officials at a ceremony here on Friday.
President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif, officials of Pakistan Army and Federal Minister were present during the ceremony.
Nishan-e-Imtiaz is one of the top and prestigious awards in the country. It is given to honor someone who has done outstanding services to the country.
