ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has chaired a high-level meeting here on Monday to review the law and order situation of Rawalpindi and Islamabad – ARY News reports.
During the meeting, officials told that a team has been formed headed by Additional Secretary Hamid Ali Khan to register the foreigners residing in the federal capital.
Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan directed the Chairman of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to insure ban on foreigners' movement in NADRA.
He directed Police and Rangers to continue search operations in Rawalpindi and Islamabad and to free the twin cities from all the criminal elements.
On this occasion, RPO Rawalpindi told that some 53 suspects have been arrested, alleged of attacking different imam bargahs in Rawalpindi.
