ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that federal government’s National Health Programme will benefit families across Pakistan, ARY News reported.
He was addressing a ceremony here in Rahim Yar Khan.
The prime minister said that the citizens have to sell their properties for treatment of their illness. He added that national health program covers the treatment of all major diseases.
He added that the federal government understands the issues faced by the people and is working to resolve them.
He added that that poor people take loans for treatment but are unable to repay it.
PM Sharif went on to say that similar projects were initiated in the past but commission was earned from it.
The premier said that such programs should be put on priority by the governments of the world. He added that politics should not be played on issues such as health.
