ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Thursday met Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Raja Ejaz Ali and discussed matters of mutual interest, ARY News reported.
During the meeting, Qaiser said Pakistan highly respect its relations with Saudi Arabia.
He said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia always helped Pakistan in testing times. The people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are like a family, he said.

He was of the view that Saudi crown prince’s recent visit will pave way for further strengthening the ties between these two countries.
The NA speaker said results of the royal dignitary’s visit would be visible soon.
He termed the crown prince’s announcement to release Pakistani prisoners as historic and unprecedented.
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday thanked Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, for his visit to Pakistan and also expressed his gratitude for the royal dignitary for ordering the release of 2107 Pakistani prisoners detained in Saudi jails.
Prime Minister Khan said the relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is increasing in investment spheres. He said the geostrategic location of Pakistan offers tremendous opportunities for the region.
Meanwhile, in a joint statement, both brotherly countries, applauded the growing momentum in bilateral ties in all areas.
