ISLAMABAD: Police will execute the special court's order of arrest of former president Pervez Musharraf in high treason case, Islamabad Police chief said.

I.G. Islamabad Sikandar Hayat has said that S.P. Rural Captain Ilyas has been entrusted for compliance of the bailable warrant of the court, ARY News reported on Monday.

Former president Pervez Musharraf has been presently admitted at the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) in Rawalpindi.

The police chief said that the same official will be responsible to confirm the bail papers, if provided, and bound him to appear before the court in next hearing. In case of non-cooperation the court can issue his non-bailable warrants, the police chief said.

Moreover, the Anti-Terrorism Court Quetta expressed dissatisfaction over the medical report of Pervez Musharraf during hearing of the Akbar Bugti murder case and ordered him to appear before the court on February 24.
