The meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee held in the building of Pakistan Meteorological Department, Karachi chaired by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman. The meeting was attended by scholars belonging to different schools of thought and astronomers.
Meanwhile, district Ruet-e-Hilal committees met at their respective headquarters.
Addressing a press conference Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman announced the sighting of moon, after receiving testimonies from different parts of the country.
