KARACHI: Former India’s Test cricketer, Mohammad Kaif got trolled over his congratulatory tweet, praising Pakistan cricket team that against all odds won the T-20 Tri-nation series, beating strong Australia by six wickets in the final at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday.
Kaif in his tweet applauded the efforts of the Pakistani team and specially mentioned the left-handed batsman Fakhar Zaman who with his outstanding batting performance succeeded in earning the title of the highest run scorer of the series.
Kaif called Fakhar a “big match player” and appreciated Pakistan team saying that
“Well done to Pakistan on winning the T-20 series final against Australia. Great innings from Fakhar Zaman, looks a big match player. Congratulations #PakvAus,”.
Indian cricket fans showed serious anger over former right-handed batsman’s tweet and started trolling him to no end;
It is pertinent to mention here that the hero of Champions trophy Final, Fakhar Zaman, once against proved himself as a big match player scoring hefty 91 runs putting Pakistan on to a winning track in the final outcome of the series.
With 278 runs in five matches at an average of 55.60, Zaman was also deservingly titled Man of the Series.
