MUZAFFARGARH: Punjab police have arrested MNA Jamshed Dasti in Muzaffargarh city of the province, ARY News reported.
According to police, Dasti was arrested for breach of authority as he forcibly opened a canal upon which irrigation department lodged a case against the National Assembly member.
Police sources says Dasti has been moved to Muzaffargarh’s Chowk Qureshi police station along with another accomplice.
Dasti’s brother, on the other hand, denied that his brother has been arrested or moved to a police station.
