According to fire department, the blaze broke out at the third floor of the hall where medicines where large quantity of medicines were kept.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
Three fire tenders arrived at the scene after receiving information of the inferno. The blaze was extinguished after 30 minutes of efforts by the fire fighters.
The cause of the fire could not be determined as yet.
