According to a foreign news agency, 20 year-old Delante Thomas was sentenced after being convicted of an attempted murder and three counts of attempted second-degree murders on June 16.
The Authorities stated that the shooter gunned down three women at a birthday party after attendees sang “Happy Birthday” to the guest of honor but not to his girlfriend, who shared the same birthday.
This angered Thomas who left the party and returned several minutes later with a semi-automatic gun.
Thomas concentrated his fire on one woman who had objected to his song request by shooting her nine times.
