The Madinah Health Cluster reported performing 207 heart catheterization and surgical operations for the Hajj pilgrims in the 47 days since the start of the Hajj season.
The Madinah Health Cluster reported that there were 37,46 visits to health centers, of which 16,059 emergency patients. It added that there have been 2,289 ambulance services, and 120 dialysis sessions during the period.
In addition to mobile clinic trucks, the Cluster strengthened its activities in Madinah during the post-Hajj season to accommodate pilgrims through 33 permanent and seasonal hospitals and health facilities.
To deliver the best possible medical treatment, almost 21,000 technical and health staff members work around the clock. In order to raise awareness of health and preventive issues in a variety of languages, the Cluster started a thorough multilingual awareness and education campaign aimed at pilgrims arriving in Madinah.
At addition to the 109 panels at the Cluster’s medical facilities, awareness screens were turned on at the Haramain High-Speed Railway Station and Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport.
