The by-polls will now be held on January 29.
The LG polls were deferred in 23 districts of the KP for several reasons by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
The ECP said polling will be held for 4,491 seats in 23 districts of the province.
The polling has been postponed in view of mourning being observed across the province for barbaric terrorist attack at Bacha Khan University in Charsadda that claimed 21 lives.
