In-charge Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Malir, Ali Raza briefed media that the law enforcers arrested 11 suspects from Muhammad Khan Colony, Ittehad Town, after being tipped by a covert agency.
The suspects belonged to a banned outfit and included two local commanders, he said.
Raza said that the written material seized from the suspects revealed that they wanted to capture some government building at Shahrah-e-Faisal and attack the airport.
Meanwhile, Rangers apprehended ten suspects from Khosa Goth near the airport seizing arms and ammunition from them.
