Police carried out a search operation at Khuda Ki Basti in Surjani Town and nabbed 42 suspects in raids.
A large contingent of West Zone Police and Reserve Police personnel took part in the operation, SP Orangi Town Ali Asif said.
Moreover, Rangers personnel arrested four suspects in a raid in Ghousia Colony locality of PIB Colony.
The para-military troops also carried out a targeted operation in Nazimabad and arrested another four suspects.
The raids are being carried out on the information given by the arrested persons, law enforcement sources said.
