SHEIKHUPURA: lawyer shot dead by unidentified men here in an apparent targeted killing incident, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
Motorbike riding gunmen opened fire at Advocate Aalia Neelum Rasheed, a senior member of Shekhupura district bar, at Hiran Minar Road, when she was standing to go to the district court. Deceased was mother of two children.
According to police, they yet to find the motive behind the murder crime adding that it could be result of an old enmity.
Local lawyers have announced strike to protest against the murder of a senior colleague.
Police has launched investigation of the incident.
