According to details, Liaquatabad Police of Lahore signaled three suspects on a motorcycle to stop as they were patrolling in Township area of the city.
The motorbike riders opened fire at the police personnel in which an officer named Kamran was wounded. He was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for treatment for his injuries.
The robbers managed to escape from the scene following the exchange of fire.
Police said that the area was cordoned off after the incident.
