KP Gov't directs cinema owners to beef-up security

PESHAWAR: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) while taking notice of blasts at cinema houses, has directed the administration to insure effective security of these spots – ARY News reports.

KP Home Secretary, Akhter Ali Shah directed the owners of cinema houses to install CCTV cameras and to remove parking near the halls.

He further directed the administration to search out the people through metal detectors and to take strict action against the ones demonstrating negligence in this regard.

Moreover, Shah also asked the cinema owners to insure additional number of security guards for keeping a check on suspected people.
