Security personnel and law enforcers once again seem to be at the target of terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). A roadside bomb targeted forces convoy in Kulachi area near D I Khan, killing a Pak-Army subedar and injuring two other troops.
Banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility of the attack shortly afterwards.
Another blast took place in Peshawar’s Hayatabad, however the forces vehicle which was to be targeted had already passed the spot.
Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) members told that the bomb was composed using one kg of explosive material.
On the whole, three persons were injured in both the incidents including a woman, who were immediately taken to hospital.
