KASHMORE: Eight persons including five women and three children, jumped into Indus river during a police search operation in Kandhkot area of district Kashmore, ARY News reported on Monday. 

Police had initiated a search operation for recovery of a kidnapped person in the katcha area in Kandhkot in northern Sindh. Fearing police five women and three children jumped into the river water, sources said. 

The rescuers launched a rescue operation and recovered dead body of a girl. The rescue operation was underway to trace remaining persons who jumped into deep river water out of fear of the police.
