According to details, police arrested two terrorists following an encounter in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. An anti-aircraft gun, ball bearings, hand grenades, detonators and a pistol recovered from the two arrested men.
Police said that the arrested terrorists hail from Punjab and are affiliated with a banned organization. The authorities said that the arrested men were involved in attacks on security forces.
On the other hand, six persons including two fugitives were arrested during a raid at Model Colony area of Karachi.
Earlier, law enforcement agencies nabbed a political party worker from Abdul Hassan Ispahani Road.
