According to Rangers spokesman, a raid was conducted in Bihar Colony area of Lyari. Witnessing arrival of law enforcers, the gangsters opened fire at the para-military force.
Two Lyari gangsters identified as Sohail alias Khauff and Shehryar alias Sherry were killed in the retaliatory fire by Rangers. They were affiliated with Baba Ladla group.
Huge cache of weapons was also recovered from the slain criminals.
Sohail and Shehryar were wanted to police for several offences including murder, extortion and dacoities.
