According to details, police carried out a search operation at Sultanabad area of the metropolis and took 24 persons into custody.
Two target killers identified as Qadir and Mohsin were arrested from Nazimabad area. The nabbed hitmen are said to be affiliated with a political party.
Weapons and explosives were recovered from the arrested target killers, police sources said.
Three persons including a policeman were injured while resisting a robbery attempt in Orangi Town. The injured persons were identified as police officer Sadiq, Ejaz and Arshad.
