KARACHI: Police arrested a suspected criminal affiliated with a political party following an encounter in Karachi on Tuesday night, ARY News reported.
According to details, police arrested the man after an encounter in Baldia Town in a wounded state.
A pistol, hand grenade and a rifle were recovered from the arrested man.
Moreover, police arrested two suspected drug dealers into custody after conducting a raid at a drug den in Khameso Goth in New Karachi. Police also recover drugs from the nabbed suspects.
A 12-year old girl committed suicide by hanging herself at her home in Korangi Town.
The girl’s father said that he scolded her deceased daughter over a verbal spat with her sister after which she locked herself in her room. “When I opened the door, I found her body hanging with a noose,” he added.
The neighbors said that the 12-year old was mentally challenged.
