KARACHI: Seven people including six children were wounded when the roof of a house collapsed in Karachi during a birthday celebration, ARY News reported.
According to eye-witnesses, birthday celebrations were taking place on the roof of the house located at Kalapul area of Karachi.
It is said that the roof, which was in a dilapidated condition, could not bear the weight of the people and came crashing down due to which seven people were injured.
Rescue teams reached the scene and shifted the wounded to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment. The hospital staff said that the condition of the injured is out of danger.
