KARACHI: Police gunned down a Lyari gangster in an encounter which took place at Karachi’s Mauripur Road, ARY News reported on Sunday.
According to Police, the gangster was killed in an alleged scuffle with the law enforcement agencies. Police also claimed to have recovered weapons and hand grenades from the slain criminal.
Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies nabbed 19 people in raids across Karachi.
Rangers arrested two persons affiliated with a political party in a raid at Shah Faisal Colony. They were shifted to unknown location for questioning.
Law enforcement agencies rounded up 17 persons in a search operations at Khairabad and Hassan Square area of Karachi.
